I design and study complex systems.

For more than two decades I have worked as an enterprise architect helping large organizations build and transform the technology platforms that run modern institutions. These systems are rarely simple. They span cloud infrastructure, legacy platforms, human processes, and organizational incentives.

Most technology writing focuses on tools.

I am interested in systems.

Why large architectures become fragile. Why organizations struggle to modernize. Why intelligent systems introduce entirely new forms of risk.

My work today focuses on cloud infrastructure and enterprise platforms, where software systems operate at massive scale and where architectural decisions can shape organizations for decades.

At the same time a new layer is emerging.

Artificial intelligence is being embedded into decision making systems across governments, corporations, and institutions. Yet the governance, architecture, and operational models for these systems are still immature.

That gap is where much of my thinking lives.

Not the latest tools.

But the architecture of the systems that shape our world.
